You rely on your doorbell to alert you when you have a guest or a delivery. Doorbells are typically reliable systems in your home, but that doesn't mean they don't occasionally break down. When they do, you'll want a Pro to make a proper repair. That’s where we come in. When you discover a covered problem, you can simply place a service request online or call American Home Shield®.

Not Covered:
Any doorbell that is part of the intercom, video monitoring, or security system

Yes, all 3 of our home warranty plans cover the parts and components of doorbells during your 1-year agreement term. Please see the plan agreement for detailed coverage information, limitations and exclusions. 

All 3 of our home warranty plans include coverage for all components and parts of doorbells (excluding smart home doorbells). Please see the coverage details on the page above or the plan agreement for more information on limitations and exclusions.

Our standard home warranty contract term is 1 year and renews for additional 1-year terms unless canceled. You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan. You will not be charged until your coverage begins at the 30-day mark.

 

If we can’t fix it, we’ll replace it and cover the cost to remove the defective system subject to your plan’s limitations and exclusions.

You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan. Service requests can easily be placed 24/7 online via MyAccount or by calling 1-888-691-2854 during standard business hours to request service.
