When a covered item breaks down, homeowners can request service online at www.ahs.com or by calling 1 800 776 4663 to speak with an American Home Shield customer service representative. We're here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to accept your clients' service requests. After a service request is received, one of our qualified contractors will contact the homeowner during business hours to schedule a time to diagnose the problem. A low Trade Service Call Fee, per trade, is due when the contractor arrives to diagnose the problem. Once repair or replacement is complete, and if we have your client's proper e-mail address on file, American Home Shield will send a follow-up survey to measure customer satisfaction regarding the service performed.
